Good morning! We can’t be the only ones excited for this Sunday’s ridiculous lineup: the final round of the Masters, the GOT premiere, four NBA playoff games, four NHL playoff games, Billions, Veep, and Barry. (Excerpt from daily email “Morning Brew”)
Is that what Sunday means to you? All of man’s weaknesses, victories and failures on display? What about praising and worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ? Sunday, the Sabbath was meant for a time of rest and reflection on our relationship with God. Our church attendance and study of His word is paramount to achieving a satisfying and intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior.
How you spend your Sunday, whether it’s watching the big game or attending church, the outcome of your decision will reflect where you stand with God. God the Father is a loving God and wants the best for you and me, however, it saddens Him when we make the wrong choice. Too many wrong choices cause our ultimate end to be spent in pain for all eternity. Making the right choice will result in our spending eternity in heaven with Jesus Christ.
Right or wrong choices may get you excited, but our Lord is watching and waiting for you to make the most exciting choice you can make. Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior!
